Our split level garden is really starting to come together. The weather has been kind so work is roughly on schedule.
The steps leading out from the patio doors are constructed. You can see that the raised bed will bring the garden up to the top step and help bring the garden up to that level. This will allow for a much more gentle approach to the garden.
You get a better idea of how the raised bed brings up the garden to you on the top step from this angle. The raised bed is filled with top soil and the garden is getting ready for planting.
Some of the plants are put in place which immediately softens the space, but there is a lot more plant excitement to come…
