Quick Courtyard Makeover – progress report

August 11th, 2011

Remember our dull lifeless courtyard with the gravel and blinding white walls?  We came up with a modest budget soloution.  A small sandstone patio in one corner, bespoke fence to screen the ugly wall next door, a raised planter bed with olives and three pots with standard trees – simple.

We have brought in the Olive trees for the raised planter bed and cleared the space ready for our crew to lay the new patio.

Already the specimen olive trees (our signature plant) add life to the space.  They will look fantastic in their new planter bed.

We sourced three square charcoal grey black pots into which we have planted photinia nanas.  These trees in planters fill the space formerly made up by the path – the path will be replaced by stepping stones through the gravel.

Lets bring the big guns in the get the heavy stuff done…
